1. Flights carrying medical personnel, technicians, media and others that must transport prohibited items on board an aircraft are designated as Emergency Response (ER) or Essential Service (ES) flights. Time-critical/life-saving flights will receive higher priority than non-critical missions.
2. ER/ES
providers must register their personnel prior to restricted airspace
activation.
3. Carriage of non-registered
passengers will delay the flight significantly, as it will necessitate
landing and screening at a designated CATSA screening facility prior to
entering the OCA.
4. IRC are to be used on
Essential Service Flight manifests to expedite processing.
